9 Great ways to love yourself ~ Self Love
Self love next to God’s love is truly the best. There is nothing like loving and accepting yourself. Many are seeking completeness from others without realizing you have to complete you with LOVE first! This is very crucial in life as it helps boost self-confidence. You should have so much love in your heart for yourself, where you can heal yourself along with God’s help. I have listed 9 great ways to help you get some SELF LOVE.
1. Give yourself compliments daily~ Look in the mirror every morning and tell yourself how beautiful you are (build your self esteem) Pat yourself on the back with your successful accomplishments thus far!
2. Accept who you are~ There are many things we can’t change within ourselves such as your skin color for example learn to accept who you are, God created you so you’re just right. Remember no one is perfect aiming for perfection is a loss so please don’t do it!
3. Stop comparing~ Sadly many of us have done this time and time again, so let me repeat STOP comparing yourself to others. Nobody can be you, even if they tried to; you are wonderfully and uniquely made to be who YOU ARE. Remember nobody else is YOU.
4. Stop being so hard on yourself~ Did you know we are OUR own worst enemy? Give yourself a break on things that can’t be changed or fixed or undone.
5. Add to your faith in your life~ Talk positivity into your life, speak and believe that YOU are the best. In addition to reminding yourself that God unconditionally love you. 2 Peter 1 5-6 5 For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; 6 and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness.
6. Forgive yourself from your past mistakes and failures~ You have to learn to understand that certain things that may have or have not happened in your life is all for a reason! Whatever it is simply forgive yourself and keep moving, life does go on! Close the door that’s behind you and keep it closed, that’s how YOU move forward. Kill the old stuff and smile.
7. Gain inner strength~ Whatever your inner strength is that YOU have been holding onto keep that and maintain it, remember your sole purpose on why you are being strong and have that strength. Sometimes it can be a challenge but it can be done.
8. Eliminate any self doubt~ Please stop this right now, don’t doubt yourself one bit in any way, that only leads to confusion, stress and frustration. Have a sense of clarity in believing yourself in life. If no one believes in YOU, you continue to believe in you.
9. Treat yourself right~ Take the time out to pamper yourself. Buy something new for yourself when time and money is allowed. You deserve nothing but the best so make sure you take time out to look good daily and take care of your personal hygiene. We all love someone who looks and smells good.
I also want to encourage you to continue to walk with God in life with so much going on in this world we can sometimes get off track; if we get ahead of God we confuse ourselves on many different things. Stay on the right path stay blessed!
If you find this beneficial and know someone who can use it for themselves, please share it with them. Sharing is caring!
